Will other golf publications get the same comic strip you send me?

Each month there are two different comic strips that are regionally syndicated. Just like your daily funny papers, all publications get the same two strips each month. For these two syndicated strips you do not need to know the characters or the story lines.

Do I get the comic strips before they are put on the website?

The comic strips appear on the website at least one month after they are syndicated. If a strip appears in magazines, newsletters, and newspapers in January, they will not start to appear on the website until sometime in February or March.

How can my readers follow your story lines?

Man, you ask great questions! Each month there are up to eight strips produced. Two of these are strips that stand on their own. Meaning they are not a part of a story line and you do not need to know the characters. These are the strips that are syndicated each month.

How do you expect to make money off this?

Great question! Glad you asked. I realize golf publications do not have the budget to pay a cartoonist. So syndication will not be my revenue stream. However, I believe that if I can brand myself in the industry as 'golf humor' that there is some money to be made; advertising on the website, books, calendars, greeting cards... etc. Just think how much Tim Conway made off Dorf? Ha! I have just signed with a great literary agent and we are now working on getting the first book published. The possibilities are endless.

How much does it cost?

Monthly syndication of Life in the Trap is free. Exposure is more important to me than making money off syndication. I toyed around with charging for syndication, but it did not work to well. So Life in the Trap will always be a free monthly syndication for publications with a circulation under 500,000. Don't worry about me. I am selling greeting cards and coffee mugs in about 600 retail outlets across the country. A book and some calendars will follow.

What exactly do I get for my money?
